Klaus G. Göken has special professional experience in patent infringement proceedings, licensing negotiations and in the writing, prosecution and enforcement of national, European and international patents and trademarks as well as in defining and implementing strategies for the exploitation and licensing of intellectual property with a view from all IP perspectives.

According to Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers, Klaus G. Göken is one of Germany’s best lawyers 2023 in the field of Intellectual Property Law. Furthermore, he is listed as a “recommended individual” in the ranking of JUVE Patent (2022). Leaders League rates him as “Excellent” in the legal field Patent prosecution (2023).

CV

Studied Electrical Engineering at the Technical Universities of Hanover and Munich, specializing in telecommunications engineering, electroacoustics, electronics, television engineering, control systems, digital message processing and power engineering, especially as concerns renewable energies. Research and development work in the semiconductor field at IBM and SIEMENS.

Legal training from 1990 to 1994 in the Patents/Trademarks/Licensing Dept. of Thomson Consumer Electronics/Telefunken Fernseh and Rundfunk GmbH in Hanover and London, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the German Patent Court; Patent Attorney (Germany) since 1993 and European Patent Attorney since 1994, at Eisenführ Speiser since 1994. Since 2015 member of the International Graduate Center Advisory Board of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences.
