Warning against misleading requests for payment

The German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) warns against misleading and fraudulent offers, requests for payment and invoices from private companies. The offer of these companies includes publication or registration of IP rights in commercial registers for a fee. This also concerns fees before the EPO, EUIPO, WIPO and other national offices. It is expressly pointed out that these companies are not connected with the offices.
