In issue 01/2026 of GRUR-Prax, attorney Rainer Böhm discusses the decision of the Munich Local Court (AG München) of February 14, 2025, regarding the unlawful use of graphics on websites. An image producer had sued a Catholic parish that used unlicensed graphics for its online job postings. The Local Court partially upheld the claim and, in addition to addressing numerous issues related to the damages procedure in copyright law, also examines the challenging interplay of arguments and counter-arguments required to prove copyright ownership.
