In the current issue of the trade journal mt|medizintechnik, patent attorney Dr Holger Veenhuis and patent attorney Dr Katrin Winkelmann have published an article under the title "Patent protection for innovative artificial intelligence". In it, they describe the significance and progress of artificial intelligence in medical technology and explain the hurdles that need to be overcome when patenting AI. In addition, they illustrate how patent protection can also function successfully in the international context of cross-border proceedings.
