Every year, the Auto IP & Legal World Summit brings together the leading heads of the automotive industry to discuss imminent challenges and opportunities in the IP space. Representatives from law and business will provide information on best practices to foster and protect innovation, enforce IP rights and cooperate on a global scale.
Eisenführ Speiser partner Philipp Rastemborski, LL.M. will share his views and insights at this year's panel "Fostering Innovation and Transparency: Looking into the EU's proposed SEP regulation". In the past, SEP enforcement has become a serious thread to OEM carmakers and suppliers, alike. The panel will provide an outlook on the Commission’s initiative to improve transparency, predictability and efficiency to the licensing and enforcement of standard essential patents in the Common Market of the EU.
