With the European Inventor Award, the EPO annually honors inventors and teams in the categories of industry, research, small and medium-sized enterprises, lifetime achievement and Non-EPO countries who significantly contribute to social and economic development with their inventions.

The finalists for the awards, which will be presented digitally for the first time on June 17, 2021 have already been determined. Pre-registration for the ceremony is not required.
