Matthias Städeli has been a lawyer specializing in trademark, media, copyright, and design law for over 30 years. Until 2024, he was jointly responsible for the development and management of one of Switzerland’s leading IP law firms. In addition, he serves part-time as a specialist judge for intellectual property at the Commercial Court of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, and sits on the boards of various companies. He leverages his expertise to support clients in the development and implementation of IP strategies, the drafting of agreements – such as development, licensing, and distribution contracts – as well as in complex contract negotiations and IP litigation. He also advises on the international expansion of trademark and design protection and across all areas of intellectual property, data protection, and technology law.
