Lukas Brunkhorst is particularly experienced in drafting and prosecuting German, European and international patent applications. He also has experience in carrying out freedom-to-operate analyses.

The fields of image acquisition and image processing as well artificial intelligence are among the technical focus of his work. His particular interest lies on applications of quantum mechanics and relativistic physics.

CV

Studied physics in Bremen and in the renowned Master's programme “Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces” at the Imperial College London, obtained a PhD in 2017 for work regarding aspects of quantum gravity in the DFG-funded research training group “Models of Gravity” at the Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity in Bremen, with a research stay at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen.

Legal training at Eisenführ Speiser, at the Distance-Learning University of Hagen, in the 7th Civil Chamber of the District Court Mannheim, at the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as the Federal Patent Court. German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney since 2022.
