Antje Weise is a member of our patent litigation team. She represents in particular international clients as well as German mid-sized companies in complex, cross-border infringement and invalidity proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and German courts. In doing so, she combines technical depth with commercial pragmatism and develops creative solutions for her clients that make the often hidden yet decisive aspects of an innovation visible and enforceable.
In her practice, she applies this approach especially in the enforcement of standard-essential patents, including antitrust law considerations. She also advises on employee inventor rights, trade secret protection and freedom-to-operate analyses. In the drafting and negotiation of licence, cooperation and development agreements, she leverages her deep technical understanding to create commercially optimal solutions for her clients also at the contractual level.
Antje Weise studied law at the University of Halle-Wittenberg with a focus on corporate and competition law, complemented by a concurrent master's programme in business law with an individuell specialization in intellectual property and IT law. She completed her First State Examination in 2021. Following her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Appeal (Oberlandesgericht) Naumburg, which included positions at two renowned international law firms, she passed her Second State Examination in 2023. She has been admitted as an attorney at law since 2024 and joined Eisenführ Speiser in 2026.
