CV

Studied at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, graduated with a Master's degree in Physics in 1993, followed by research work at the Walter Schottky Institute at the Technical University of Munich. His main fields of work are solid-state physics, semiconductor structures and production, and optics.

Legal training at Eisenführ Speiser, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the German Patent Court from 1994 to 1996; Patent Attorney (Germany) since 1997, set-up of the Hamburg office since 1997, European Patent Attorney since 1998.
