Heiko Sendrowski

Studied at the Technical University of Brunswick, graduating with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology in 1995, including a period of study at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now Cancer Research UK) in 1994. Research work at the Federal Agricultural Research Institute (FAL) until 1999. Specialises in genetics, microbiology, biosensors, bioinformatics.
Legal training first in a Hanover firm of patent attorneys specialised in chemistry, and since 2000 at Eisenführ Speiser. He also trained at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Patent Court and at the Distance-Learning University of Hagen. Patent Attorney since 2002 and European Patent Attorney since 2003; Partner.
As a patent attorney, Heiko Sendrowski mainly serves clients in the fields of genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, aromatics and fragrances, paper manufacturing and general mechanics. He has special professional experience in writing and managing German, European and international patent applications and in the field of trademark law. Within the firm, Heiko Sendrowski specialises on patent portfolio valuation and on the development of intellectual property strategies. He also advises on matters relating to employee inventions.
