Studied Physics at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Preliminary Master’s Degree Examination in 1993; studied Jurisprudence at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University of Frankfurt, taking the First State Examination in Law in 1995; he did the practical phase of his lawyer’s training in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Monroe (Connecticut) and New York, taking the Second State Examination in Law in 1999.
Attorney since 1999, at Eisenführ Speiser (Bremen) since 2000, Partner since 2008; previously (from 1998 to 1999) a research assistant at Kenyon & Kenyon, New York and Frankfurt, and attorney at Clifford Chance Pünder, Düsseldorf (from 1999 to 2000).
Harald Förster has specialised in intellectual property disputes in the fields of patent law, design law, trademark law and competition law. Another key focus is on prosecuting product piracy by applying for border confiscation measures.
