Studied at the University of Kaiserslautern, graduating with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1982
His studies focused on general electrical engineering, electromechanical systems, control systems, electronics and electrical machines.
Employed by Siemens AG, Munich, from 1982 to 1989, in the development of measurement and testing technologies (both hardware and software) for electronics and electromechanical components, in the testing technologies production department for customer-specific components.
From 1990 to 1993, he worked in the intellectual property field in the TBK-Patent law firm in Munich; legal training at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court in 1994; Patent Attorney since 1995 and European Patent Attorney since 1997; at Eisenführ Speiser since 2007.
His clients come from the fields of automotive engineering, electromechanical systems and components, medical technology, measurement and testing technologies for electronics, electrical machines, control systems and camera technology. Drafting, prosecution and enforcement of national, European and international patent applications, patents and other IP rights.
